At Kenmac we are family owned and operated, and we have been that way for three generations now. At Kenmac we take pride in the fact that we are able to give highly personalized service to our customers that our big-box competitors are unable to.

Meet the owner

Jordan Boyd is the 3rd generation of Boyd men to own and operate Kenmac Parts since he took over the shop after his father Shawn Retired at the end of 2025. Jordan was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, has a wife and three kids, and currently resides in Gibsons. Jordan has worked at Kenmac for many years and is looking forward to this new adventure ahead in his role of owner.

    Going to leave this review on behalf of someone who probably couldn't navigate to the google review tab. Alex & Jordan will recently remember a chevy silverado that came through the shop for a head unit upgrade, they requested a unit with gps and you did provide but it was android auto / apple carplay which 100% made sense but there was no way you could account for the lack of technical ability on the owner. When they complained it wasn't what they wanted you did your best to meet them halfway and covered the labor and took the old unit that was already installed back with a full refund and managed to find a unit that had what they wanted to the point. I know they are pleased and as the person who tried to help them 2 provinces away I appreciate the effort you put in as I could not.

    Honestly best group of people out there. Broke down out there coming from the island to pick up a car, Had the part in stock and carried everything i needed to repair. EXTREMELY reasonable pricing for the average guy that they don't know, like me. 10 stars if I could. Saved my bacon and got me what I needed to get rolling again. Wish I could make them my full time parts guys. Guy passed his number on to me if I needed anything after closing, luckily didn't need it.

    Will be putting their KENMAC PARTS on my stock car as free publicity in the 2026 season. Least I can do.

    We absolutely love Kenmac and their team. Whenever we go in they are always helpful and go above and beyond. Their selection is great, pricing is great and they always seem to have what we need. Just today my fiancé went to get a new bulb for our truck and it was so reasonably priced and they installed it for free. Shout to Jordan for taking care of that for us. In today’s climate, keeping our dollar local and supporting local Canadian business is so important. For as long a Kenmac is around, we will be heading to them for all our vehicle maintenance needs. How it all began

Kenmac Parts opened their doors for business in July of 1959 to supply the growing town of Gibsons and surrounding areas. This third generation family owned and operated store has been a cornerstone of the community for over 65 years.
